14.11.2018

Dear Colleagues,

The Russian Technological University (RTU-MIREA) invites you and your colleagues to participate in the Russian-Swiss seminar “Materials of electronics in ultrashort ultrastrong electromagnetic field”. The seminar will be held on November 28-29, 2019 at the located RTU-MIREA at: Vernadsky ave. 78, Moscow Russia.

The seminar is initiated by the laboratory “Ultrafast dynamics of ferroics” headed by Academician Alexander Sigov and Professor Alexey Kimel and supported by Swiss Embassy.

We believe that the subject is of interest to specialists in the field of creating and operating sources of optical and terahertz radiation, including high-power femtosecond lasers, as well as free-electron lasers (FEL); for specialists in the field of nano- and optoelectronics, as well as in the field of interaction of laser radiation with matter; and also in the field of creating new express methods for controlling media and devices for the effect of short electromagnetic pulses.

List of invited participants:

Prof. Dr. Steve Johnson, ETH Zurich (Swiss Federal Institute of Technology), Switzerland;

Dr. Roman Mankowsky, Paul Scherrer Institute, Switzerland;

Prof. Alexey Kimel, Radboud University Nijmegen, The Netherlands;

Dr. Alexandra Kalashnikova, Ioffe Physical Technical Institute, Russia;
