From September 27 to 29, the All-Russian hackathon "Digital Breakthrough. Season: Artificial Intelligence" was held in Moscow.
The competition featured seven cases in various areas of artificial intelligence. Each case had three prize places (500, 300 and 200 thousand rubles, respectively). During the hackathon, 1,616 participants from 314 teams solved applied problems of using artificial intelligence technologies.
Three teams of students and graduates of the Institute of Information Technologies won several prizes.
The team of graduates of the Institute of Information Technologies AiRina won first place in the case "Intelligent assistant to the support service operator" from Rutube. Team members: Timofey Dmitrievich Bokach (master's student of ITU RTU MIREA), Alexey Aleksandrovich Shikhov (master's student of ITU RTU MIREA), Igor Vladimirovich Tomashevsky.
The team of graduates of the Institute of Information Technologies "neurON" took second place in the case "Search for duplicate videos" for the vertical video application Yappy. Team members: Daniil Denisovich Karpov (master's student of the IAI RTU MIREA), Mikhail Konstantinovich Kozlov (master's student of the IAI RTU MIREA), Sergey Sergeevich Kulikov (master's student of the IAI RTU MIREA), Anastasia Aleksandrovna Valueva (master's student of ITMO -Information Technologies, Mechanics and Optics University), and Leon Anastasovich Chizhenko.
The team of students of the Institute of Information Technologies -RealityFirst - took third place in the case "Generation of viral clips" organized by Rutube. The team members are: Roman Olegovich Legonkov, Georgy Danielevich Sherry, Egor Ivanovich Parfenov, Leonid Ruslanovich Deev. The team coach is senior lecturer Anton Nikolaevich Mironov.
