Students from MIREA – Russian Technological University became prize winners at the Design. Materials. Technology Congress

On April 12-16, at St. Petersburg State University of Industrial Technologies and Design, within the framework of the IV Design. Materials. Technology International Congress, a series of events took place where young scientists from MIREA – Russian Technological University succeeded in winning several prizes. 

In the 2nd final round of the All-Russian Student Olympiad in “Technology of Artistic Processing of Materials” Anastasia Vladimirovna Lysenko, student of the Department of Computer Design, won 3rd place in the Composition nomination. Scientific adviser – Julia Alekseevna Boyko, Ph.D., Associate Professor of the Department of Computer Design. More than 70 students from the leading Russian universities participated in this event. 

The XIII International Scientific and Practical Conference Science and Education in the Field of Technical Aesthetics, Design and Technology of Artistic Materials Processing was also held at the same time. Students of various Russian universities made over 45 reports on various topics. Students of the Department of Computer Design of the Institute of Physics and Technology honorably represented MIREA – Russian Technological University at this conference.

In the Technology and Design category:

  • 2nd place went to Anastasia Nikolaevna Bespalova. Scientific adviser – Yulia Alekseevna Boyko Ph.D., Associate Professor of the Department of Computer Design.
  • 3rd place went to Elena Sergeevna Sorokopudova. Scientific advisers – Olga Aleksandrovna Kazachkova, Ph.D. in Philological Sciences, Associate Professor of the Department of Computer Design; Yulia Alekseevna Boyko, Ph.D., Associate Professor of the Department of Computer Design. 

In the Information Technologies in Design category:

  • 3rd place – Daniil Ruslanovich Serbaev, postgraduate student of the Department of Computer Design. Scientific adviser – Olga Aleksandrovna Kazachkova, Ph.D. in Philological Sciences, Associate Professor of the Department of Computer Design.
