Students of Lomonosov Institute of Fine Chemical Technologies have become prize-winners of the International Student Olympiad

On May 23 to 26, Ufa State Petroleum Technical University hosted the IV Processes and Equipment of Chemical Technology International Student Olympiad named after Professor K.F.Bogatykh. The Olympiad included the implementation of design competitive assignments and the tasks from the Processes and Equipment of Chemical Technology course.

MIREA – Russian Technological University was represented at the Olympiad by undergraduates from Lomonosov Institute of Fine Chemical Technologies D.B. Pletnev, M.M. Sibirtsev, S.A. Razin. The students successfully completed all the tasks and took the honorable 3rd place.

In total, 69 students from 19 universities took part in the Olympiad, including representatives of Azerbaijan (Sumgait), Kazakhstan (Atyrau), Uzbekistan (Fergana), the Russian Federation (Moscow, Yekaterinburg, Samara, Perm, Yaroslavl, Grozny and others), and the national teams of Africa and Cuba. 40 participants competed on-site in person, 29 – in a remote mode.

Winners and prize-holders were awarded diplomas and prizes, and letters of thanks were sent to the rectors of the participating universities.
