The Institute of Information Technologies provided the students of Mobile Application Development course with Samsung and Apple tablets

Since 2019, first-year students of the Institute of Information Technologies with a high initial level of competence in the field of programming have the opportunity to take a free two-semester additional course Development of mobile applications for Android operating system as part of the educational project "IT Academy Samsung".

In 2021, the Institute of Information Technologies began testing the Development of mobile applications for the iOS operating system course, the introduction of which into educational programs will allow successful students to obtain a full range of digital competencies in the field of mobile application development.

Implementing development courses for the Android and iOS operating systems requires appropriate mobile devices to test how student-developed applications function. To solve this problem, the Institute of Information Technologies purchased 54 Samsung tablets (Galaxy Tab A7, 64 GB) and 35 Apple tablets (iPad A-10, 32 Gb), which are available to students in specialized laboratories of the Institute.
