The meeting between RTU MIREA and the Combat Brotherhood non-commercial organization of war veterans signed a cooperation agreement

A working meeting was held between Stanislav Alekseevich Kudzh, Rector of RTU MIREA, Dmitry Vadimovich Sablin, State Duma Deputy, and Evgeny Aleksandrovich Binyukov, Head of the Expeditionary Combat Readiness Center of the Ministry of Defense of the Russian Federation.

During the discussion, an exchange of views took place on new approaches and methods to form a sense of civic responsibility and patriotism in young people.

Representatives of the Combat Brotherhood spoke about their experience in keeping traditions, military-patriotic and historical education of the younger generation, shared many years of expertise in organizing  events in this sphere. Dmitry Vadimovich Sablin gave the representatives and students of RTU MIREA a tour of the Combat Brotherhood museum and showed an exposition dedicated to the veterans of local military conflicts.

The delegation from RTU MIREA offered information on similar programs carried out at our University: Summer in Special Operations Forces, Scout’s Trail, diving and airsoft clubs, a youth army division and a historical search unit, as well as the University’s plans to improve this work in 2021.

Evgeny Aleksandrovich Binyukov, Head of the Expeditionary Combat Readiness Center of the Ministry of Defense, spoke about the activities in this area carried out by the Ministry of Defense of the Russian Federation and the Russian Geographical Society.

The participants in the work meeting stated that it is necessary to develop new projects and improve the already existing programs, implement innovative methods and principles which have become the subject matter of the dialogue between the partners and the basis for expanding partnership.

As a result of the meeting, an agreement was signed on cooperation between RTU MIREA and the Combat Brotherhood, All-Russian public organization of veterans. Also, Stanislav Alekseevich Kudzh and Evgeny Aleksandrovich Binyukov signed a plan of major events for 2021, which includes joint expeditions of the Expeditionary Center of the Russian Ministry of Defense and RTU MIREA to the Kuril Islands, an underwater search for sunken objects of the Great Patriotic War and many other projects.
