The projects of the students of RTU MIREA under the guidance of the staff of the Institute of Information Technology reached the final of the annual interuniversity competition Samsung Innovation Campus

Every year, the best student developments on the Internet of Things, Artificial Intelligence, Mobile Development and Big Data of the Samsung Innovation Campus social and educational project are selected to participate in the final of the interuniversity competition. In 2024, the 12 best projects were selected as finalists.

The projects of students of the following universities were accepted to the final of the competition: RTU MIREA (Moscow) – three projects, NARFU (Arkhangelsk), KSU (Kursk) – two projects each, SFU (Krasnoyarsk), Sechenov University (Moscow), SFedU (Rostov-on-Don), UrFU (Yekaterinburg), ISU (Irkutsk) – one project each.

Our university will be represented in the final of the competition:

Anna Egorovna Rodenkova, a student at the College of Programming and Cybersecurity, with the “First Aid Assistant” project. The teacher is Alexander Maksimovich Levandrovsky;

Sergey Sergeevich Kulikov, a student of the Department of Computer Engineering at the Institute of Information Technologies, with the project "Quality control of apartment decoration". The teacher is Ivan Alexandrovich Yurchenkov.

Students of the Department of Practical and Applied Informatics of the Institute of Information Technologies Ivan Nikolaevich Ivanov and Ildar Ramilevich Shamgulov with the “LoRa Messenger” project. The teacher is Alexander Igorevich Zaporozhskikh.

In previous years, the projects of students of the Institute of Information Technology repeatedly became winners in various nominations of the Samsung Innovation Campus interuniversity competition, and RTU MIREA was awarded the "University of the Year" and "Teacher of the Year" awards.

The finalists of 2024 will make presentations of projects in October – at the in-person final of the competition! We wish the guys success!
