The RTU MIREA Rector visited the Universities 2030: Science-Competence-Youth Forum

Stanislav Alekseevich Kudzh, Rector of RTU MIREA, attended the Universities 2030: Science-Competence-Youth Forum.
The Forum was held on November 6 in Nizhny Novgorod on the premises of Lobachevsky National Research State University of Nizhny Novgorod. The Forum turned into one of the major discussion floors for top managers working in the system of higher education in 2020.

It was held in a mixed format – both off- and on-line. The main goal of the Forum was to discuss the challenges facing higher education, science, and society associated with the spread of the COVID-19 pandemic.

The Forum was also attended by Valery Nikolaevich Falkov, Minister of Science and Higher Education of the Russian Federation, Alexander Mikhailovich Sergeev, President of the Russian Academy of Sciences, Gleb Sergeevich Nikitin, Governor of the Nizhny Novgorod Region.

Grigory Alexandrovich Gurov, Deputy Head of Rosmolodezh (Youth of Russia), Aleksey Gennadievich Komissarov, General Director of ANO Russia – the Land of Opportunities, Fedor Timofeevich Prokopov, Vice President of the Russian Union of Industrialists and Entrepreneurs, Vladimir Alexandrovich Mau, Rector of RANEPA, Yaroslav Ivanovich Kuzminov, Rector of NRU HSE, Andrei Evgenievich Volkov, scientific supervisor of the Moscow School of Management Skolkovo, Elena Vadimovna Zagainova, Rector of Lobachevsky State University of Nizhny Novgorod, and other participants also joined the discussion.

At the Forum, experts – representatives of universities, regional authorities, and federal ministries and departments – also considered the issue of launching a system of mass-scale continuing life-long education for adults in the universities in Russia.

The forum was organized by the Ministry of Science and Higher Education of the Russian Federation, the Government of the Nizhny Novgorod Region, the Higher School of Economics National Research University, the Scientific and Educational Policy EAC, and Moscow International Education Fair.
