The RTU MIREA representatives also participated in the employees of international departments forum

On December 5-6, the RTU MIREA delegation worked at the forum of employees of higher educational institutions international departments: From the priority project on the Development of the export potential of the Russian education system to the Export of Education Federal project held by the Russian Ministry of Education and Science and hosted by the Peoples' Friendship University of Russia. Our delegation included I.S. Solunova, Deputy First Vice-Rector, L.A. Komkova, Head of the Department of International Relations, E.A. Slezkina, Deputy Director of the Institute of International Education. The main goal of the forum was to work out the necessary activities for the Russian universities aimed to implement the Federal project Export of Education as part of the National Education Project. The participants in the meeting discussed how to update conceptual approaches to determine the forms of state support and the content of the national personnel training processes for foreign countries in the face of global challenges, as well as the mechanisms to coordinate interaction between the Russian government structures and the universities. In this connection various events and other measures were discussed to attract foreign citizens to receive education in the Russian Federation. Much attention was given to issues relating to information openness of higher education: the delegation discussed media strategies for promoting universities at the national and global levels.
