The Students of the Institute of Physics and Technology won prizes at the “Design. Materials. Technology” International Congress

The students of the Department of Computer Design of the RTU MIREA Institute of Physics and Technology actively participated in the events held within the framework of the III International Congress “Design. Materials. Technology” dedicated to the Year of Memory and Glory (The 75th anniversary of the Victory in the Great Patriotic War 1941-1945) held at the St. Petersburg State University of Industrial Technologies and Design.
From October 12 to 15, 2020, the St. Petersburg State University of Industrial Technologies and Design as part of the III International Congress “Design. Materials. Technology” held a review-competition of creative works of students, masters and postgraduates in “Technology of Artistic Processing of Materials”. Over 250 works were demonstrated during the event. Their authors were the students studying at universities all over Russia: Kalashnikov Izhevsk State Technical University, Udmurt State University, Novocherkassk South-Russian State Polytechnic University, Lipetsk State Technical University, Dagestan State Technical University, Vyatka State University, Irkutsk National Technical University, Mendeleev Russian University of Chemical Technology, Moscow State Technical University named after G.I. Nosov, North-Caucasian Institute of Mining and Metallurgical Engineers, and others.
During the expert selection, students of the Department of Computer Design of the Institute of Physics and Technology became winners and awardees in the following nominations:
1. Nomination: “Painting”:
• I place Anastasia Alekseevna Dashkina, supervisor – Evgenia Petrovna Dragunova, Senior Associate Professor
• II place Galina Alekseevna Zuikova, supervisor – Evgenia Petrovna Dragunova, Senior Associate Professor
• III place Anna Mikhailovna Alyabyeva, supervisor – Evgenia Petrovna Dragunova, Senior Associate Professor
2. Nomination: “Craftsmanship – glass”
• III place Anastasia Alekseevna Dashkina, supervisor – Yu.A. Boyko, Ph.D., Associate Professor of the Department of Computer Design
On October 13, 2020, the St. Petersburg State University of Industrial Technologies and Design hosted the XXIII All-Russian Scientific and Practical Conference in “Technology of Artistic Processing of Materials”. The event was held online.
Students from various Russian universities presented more than 70 reports on various topics.
A student of the Department of Computer Design Galina Alekseevna Zuikova took the III place in Technology and Design category.
On October 15, 2020, the III final round of the All-Russian Student Olympiad in Technology of Artistic Processing of Materials was held online.
Over 55 students from the leading Russian universities took part in the Olympiad.
Students of the Department of Computer Design honorably represented our University winning several prizes:
- II place in the overall standings – Oleg Denisovich Danilyuk,
- in the nomination “Graphics” II place and in the nomination “Composition” III place – Olga Vladimirovna Savina.
