The teams of students and graduates of the Institute of Information Technologies took first and two second places in the cases of the International Hackathon "Digital Breakthrough. Season: Artificial Intelligence"

From November 8 to 10, the largest team competition in the 2024 cycle of events of the International Hackathon "Digital Breakthrough. Season: Artificial Intelligence" was held. Participants from all over the world, getting together in teams of three to five people, solved cases offered by business and the state. Each of the 10 cases provided three prize places - 500, 300 and 200 thousand rubles of prize money each.

The AiRina graduate team won first place in the Information Search in the Knowledge Library case offered by Media Wise. Team members: Timofey Dmitrievich Bokach, master's program student at the Institute of Management Technologies, RTU MIREA, Alexey Aleksandrovich Shikhov, Igor Vladimirovich Tomashevsky, master's student at the Institute of Management Technologies, RTU MIREA.

The WGHack student team took second place in the Electrocorticogram Classification System case offered by the Federal State Budgetary Institution National Medical Research Center for Therapy and Preventive Medicine of the Ministry of Health of the Russian Federation and the Institute of Higher Nervous Activity and Neurophysiology of the Russian Academy of Sciences. The team members are Mikhail Viktorovich Bykov, Daria Vyacheslavovna Denisova, Timur Vitalyevich Komolov, Dmitry Vladimirovich Makarov, Lev Leonidovich Shelopaev. The team coach is Ivan Aleksandrovich Yurchenkov, Senior Lecturer at the Department of Applied Mathematics.

The RealityFlex student team took second place in the AI Tool for Working with Data on Prospective Urban Development case from the Moscow City State Institution — the Moscow Government Traffic Management Center. The team members are Alexander Maksimovich Levandrovsky, "the playing coach", Artem Vadimovich Shendyapin, Artem Ravilevich Latypov, Alexander Gennadyevich Yasankin.
