Words of Congratulations from Rector of RTU MIREA on Volunteer Day

Dear students, activists, volunteers of RTU MIREA!

Congratulations on Volunteer Day!

Today, the volunteer movement of RTU MIREA unites hundreds of students and thousands of graduates. Our University has one of the largest and most well-coordinated volunteer centers, working in several areas. RTU MIREA volunteering is especially famous for its expeditions, during which volunteers help create tourist routes and conserve flora in dozens of regions of the Russian Federation.

Such trips mean not only visits to the most picturesque corners of the country, getting new friends, deriving pleasure from traveling, but it is also a lot of work. This was highly appreciated, and the university volunteer team was awarded 1st degree diploma in the Best Breakthrough in the Field of Volunteering, Charity and Civil Initiatives nomination during the We Are Together International Forum.

I am sure that this is not the last victory of RTU MIREA volunteers. However, each of their good deeds is a great achievement in itself, benefiting the regions of the country and specific people. I congratulate all the RTU MIREA volunteers and those young people who are just getting ready to join their friendly ranks on the holiday! Thank you for the purity of your intent, desire to make the world a better place, concern for the people and environment, and working actively for the good! I wish you success in such difficult, but necessary and honorable work!
