Workshop “Strategy of International Youth Cooperation in the CIS 2030” held at RTU MIREA

On December 5, a workshop «Strategy of international youth cooperation in the CIS 2030. Indices of the status of young people in the CIS countries» was held at the MIREA — Russian Technological University in the framework of the Forum of Youth Organizations of the CIS Member States, organized by the Council for Youth Affairs of the Commonwealth of Independent States together with the Federal Agency for Youth Affairs, the Basic Organization for Youth Affairs of the CIS countries (RTU MIREA), MGIMO and the National Council of the Youth and Children’s Associations of Russia.

Opening the meeting, Stanislav Alekseevich Kudzh, the Rector of the RTU MIREA, addressed the audience with a welcoming speech. The experts at the workshop were V.A. Chetiy, the President of the World Alumni Association; G.V. Petushkov, the Chairman of the Youth Affairs Council of the CIS Member States, Chairman of the National Council of Youth and Children’s Associations of Russia; T.N. Kovalyova, the Deputy Head of the Secretariat of the Youth Affairs Council of the CIS Member States, Head of the Department for Cooperation in the Field of Culture, Sports, Tourism and Youth of the CIS Executive Committee; M.O. Safarov, the Executive Secretary of the Youth Inter-Parliamentary Assembly of the CIS Member States. During the work, such topics as strengthening the international relations of the University through work with foreign students and graduates, indices of the status of young people in the CIS countries, strategy of international youth cooperation of the Commonwealth of Independent States for 2021-2030 were considered.

The Forum of Youth Organizations of the CIS Member States took place in Moscow on December 3-6. Its main goals were to reveal the educational, social and spiritual and moral potential of the younger generation, to strengthen the interaction of peoples, and also to support the integration processes in the CIS.
