Rosatom State Corporation Day was celebrated at RTU MIREA

On March 13, RTU MIREA hosted Rosatom State Corporation Day for IT students.

More than 200 students from IIT, III and IKB institutes attended master classes initiated by JSC Greenatom and JSC Consist-OS, which are included in the corporation.

A.S. Zuev, director of IIT RTU MIREA, and S.I. Boridko spoke about the Rosatom state corporation, its plans and development prospects, joint programs with the university and training programs at the Department of Information Technologies in Nuclear Energy. Students learned about the main areas of activity, career opportunities, working conditions, current vacancies and internship programs from representatives of JSC Greenatom and JSC Consist-OS.

The speakers discussed issues of information security and development in the electric power industry, opportunities to participate in the championship movement of professional excellence, and spoke about machine learning and working with big data within the corporation. In parallel with the master classes, a computer game was held in computer classes, where students in different roles tried their hand at managing and developing a digital nuclear enterprise.

The meeting ended with an interesting quiz, the questions of which left the participants of the event scratching their heads. The winners of the quiz received memorable gifts. During the entire event, consultants from JSC Greenatom and JSC Consist-OS worked in a stand format on the site in front of the central staircase. All interested students could consult about their opportunities to work at Rosatom and leave their resumes for vacancies of interest.
