Students of RTU MIREA became winners and prize-winners of the All-Russian Engineering Competition

On June 11 and 13, the finalists of the 10th Anniversary All-Russian Engineering Competition defended their works before state examination (competition) commissions, headed by the top officials of corporations, relevant ministries and departments such as:

• Vasily Viktorovich Shpak, Deputy Minister of Industry and Trade of the Russian Federation;

• Alexey Evgenievich Likhachev, General Director of the Rosatom State Atomic Energy Corporation;

• Yuri Anatolyevich Chikhanchin, Director of the Federal Service for Financial Monitoring;

• Vladimir Vladimirovich Gutenev, Chairman of the State Duma Committee of the Russian Federation on Industry and Trade.

The finalists included 100 people from 48 universities in 28 regions of the country, who were selected from more than 10.5 thousand applications submitted for the competition.

Eight undergraduate and graduate students from our University made it to the finals.

Upon the results of the work of the competition commissions, students of RTU MIREA found themselves among the winners and prize-winners of the competition.

The winners of the competition were:

Denis Olegovich Baranov with the topic “Microprocessor for automatic zonal regulation of heating temperature of special clothing” (Institute of Cyber ​​Security and Digital Technologies);

Ilya Sergeevich Musatov with the topic “Development of a prototype module for collecting and processing an array of bearings for an information system for relative positioning of objects using the example of NPO Almaz (Institute of Cyber ​​Security and Digital Technologies);

Oleg Viktorovich Trofimov with the topic “Mobile robot for automated diagnostics of high-voltage equipment of open switchgears” (Institute of Artificial Intelligence);

Alexey Vladimirovich Fedorov with the topic “Improving the efficiency of interaction between employees of JSC Publishing House Prosveshcheniye based on the use of advanced digital technologies” (Institute of Management Technologies);

Alexander Sergeevich Yarovoy with the topic “Modeling the properties of nerve centers using cellular automata” (Institute of Artificial Intelligence).

Prize-winners of the competition:

Nikolay Dmitrievich Avdeev with the topic “Methodological and prescription-technological solutions for creating polymer-bitumen binders with improved adhesive characteristics” (Lomonosov Institute of Fine Chemical Technologies);

Alexander Dmitrievich Grudtsov with the topic “Digital synthesizer of S-band frequencies” (branch of RTU MIREA in Fryazino);

Hovsep Vardanovich Saribekyan with the topic “Research and optimization of the heat treatment process of products made from BFlex material using the layer-by-layer fusion method, in order to improve performance properties” (Institute of Advanced Technologies and Industrial Programming).

Also, RTU MIREA was awarded a letter of gratitude signed by O.V. Petrova, Deputy Minister of Science and Higher Education of the Russian Federation, for assistance in the development of engineering education and contribution to the implementation of a socially significant project.
