The International Scientific and Practical Conference “Professional Communications: From Term to Discourse” was held at RTU MIREA

From May 20 to 24, the International Scientific and Practical Conference “Professional Communications: From Term to Discourse” was held at MIREA - Russian Technological University.

The event was dedicated to the 20th anniversary of anthropolinguistics. At the opening of the conference, its founder, Professor Sergei Viktorovich Grinev-Grinevich, Doctor of Philology, delivered a welcoming speech.

The hybrid format of the conference allowed specialists, university professors and students from more than 50 educational and scientific institutions from over 25 regions of Russia and abroad, including the Republic of Belarus, Poland, the Republic of Tajikistan, Vietnam, Jordan and others, to take part in its work. The event was held with the support of the World Design Organization (WDO), Interregional Public Organization "League of Higher School Professors".

Thus, a platform for the exchange of experience and knowledge in the field of innovative methods of education, design and technology was created.

Within the framework of the conference, the following events took place:

All-Russian Olympiad of students of educational organisations of higher education "Visual Communication";

All-Russian (national) student review-contest "Images of the City";

National (All-Russian) exhibition "Images of the City".
