“AtomicHack” is not only a large-scale hackathon that brought together more than 200 participants from different cities of Russia and organized by the Rosatom Corporate Academies as part of the state corporation’s strategy “Digital Vision - 2030”, it is, according to Marina Avilova, director of the department of digital transformation of the State Corporation “Rosatom”, a tool unifying science and IT, the desire to ensure that digital technologies “come to the shop floor” and result in the maximum gains for the production.

The teams were offered three tasks to solve: “Online consultant based on domestic generative neural networks”, “Manufacturing defect detector”, “Identification of implicit relationships in abstract text”. The ICS team solved the problem “Online consultant based on domestic generative neural networks” by creating an MVP in the form of a service that generates answers to questions on the topic of procurement procedures with high relevance of the answers based on the regulatory documentation provided by the producer using artificial intelligence technologies.

The team of first-year students from the Department of Computer Science at the Institute of Cyber Security and Digital Technologies coped with flying colors with all the stages of the case assignment, passed all checkpoints with maximum scores, and took first place in the event. Trackers and hackathon experts highly appreciated the results obtained. The winning team included: Vladislav Shulgin, Danil Shidlovsky, Artyom Chikhladze, Timur Khisamov, Gleb Klimchuk.
