A student of the Institute of Information Technologies won the 3rd place at the Huawei ICT Competition in the National Finals of Russia

The 4th year student of the Institute of Information Technologies Maria Alekseevna Naberezhnaya took the 3rd place in the Network track at the Huawei ICT Competition. The participant from RTU MIREA showed a high level of training in the field of computer network technologies.Huawei ICT Competition is an information and communication technology competency exchange event hosted by Huawei for students from major educational institutions.

Huawei ICT Competition is held in three stages: at the national level of individual states, at the regional level, and further on at – at the international level. The competition promotes the development of an ecosystem of digital talents and supports their integration between industry and education.

In 2021, in Russia, the competition was held along the Network and Cloud tracks, each of which had one first, two second and three third places.

The Huawei Academy was opened at the RTU MIREA Institute of Information Technologies premises in March 2021, and currently trains students on AI (Artificial Intelligence), Datacom and Storage tracks with free certification at the Associate (HCIA) level.
