Happy birthday to the Central Rescue Squad of VSKS - Student Rescue Squad of RTU MIREA!

The Student Rescue Movement is an opportunity for young people to prove their worth and make a feasible contribution to improving our country. Volunteer rescuers, demonstrating their own initiative, inspire others to be responsive, considerate and compassionate towards people, making the world a better place.

At RTU MIREA, these wonderful human qualities are personified in the rescuers of the Central Rescue Squad of the VSKS. They take part in the elimination of emergency situations and their consequences, improve the level of citizen safety culture, and readily share their experience with colleagues from all over Russia.

It is gratifying that the number of people wishing to join the Association is constantly growing. Over more than two decades, hundreds of students have undergone professional training in the rescue unit, the majority of them have become certified rescuers, and many have received departmental awards from the Russian Ministry of Emergency Situations.

But the main achievement of the young people is not official recognition, but hundreds of rescued people across the country.

Let there be fewer situations requiring the intervention of student rescuers! I wish you health and strength, courage and dedication, good luck in your difficult but important work!
