From 11 to 13 October, in the Republic of Armenia, the city of Kapan, two important events were held within the framework of the CIS cooperation.
Rakhmonzoda Abdullo Kurbonali, Chairman of the Council, Chairman of the Committee on Youth Affairs and Sports under the Government of the Republic of Tajikistan, made a welcoming speech at a regular meeting of the Council for Youth Affairs of the member states of the Commonwealth of Independent States. He noted that the meeting was very special, as it was organized on the eve of the 30th anniversary of the establishment of the Commonwealth of Independent States, and he emphasized that it was held in the 2021 youth capital of the Republic of Armenia.

In parallel with the meeting of the Council, the final session of the International Youth Project 100 Ideas for the CIS took place. At the final session, the Russian delegation was represented by 10 participants-graduates of the All-Russian competition My country – my Russia. As a result of the projects defense, three students became winners of the finals of the International Youth Project of the CIS Member States 100 Ideas for the CIS, namely: Pavel Berezhansky, Yuliana Zhagaparova and Vladislav Zaikin. Andrey Vsevolodovich Timoshenko, Vice-Rector for Academic Affairs of RTU MIREA, acted as an expert in the competition finals.
The project 100 Ideas for the CIS was initiated in 2013 and is aimed to promote the activities of youth of the CIS member states getting them involved in the solution of socio-economic, research and innovative issues, establishing and developing relationships between participants sharing common interests.
