RTU MIREA presented educational programs at the traveling exhibition of Russian education in China

A traveling exhibition of Russian education was held in China, organized by the Russian Cultural Center in Beijing with the support of universities and the people's governments of the provinces of China. 18 Russian educational organizations took part in the exhibition, RTU MIREA among them. The exhibition route passed through the cities of Beijing, Xinyang, Hebi, Xi'an, and Yangling.

Exhibition events were held at partner sites based at schools and universities. The closing ceremony took place in Chongqing at the People's Government Square in Dadukou District.

Over eight days, the exhibition events were attended by over 180 Chinese educational organizations (schools, colleges and universities), more than five thousand Chinese schoolchildren and students - potential applicants, as well as more than 40 representatives of recruiting agencies.

The traveling exhibition format is an effective tool for recruiting the best Chinese applicants and young professionals from the regions.

At the exhibition events, RTU MIREA was represented by Irina Solunova, Deputy First Vice-Rector. She discussed with the heads of specialized educational organizations of higher and secondary education in China the areas and forms of interuniversity cooperation in education, culture and science, and the promotion of bilateral student exchanges, the possibility of implementing joint educational programs, organizing educational tourism and recruiting Chinese applicants.

Also, during the visit, a Memorandum of Understanding was signed between RTU MIREA and the administration of the People's Government of Fuguo County, Henan Province.
