Show ballet “Accent” of Moscow Technological University participates in First Festival of Indian and Russian culture “Amrit”

On August 27, 2016 in Tarusa there took place the First Festival of the Indian and Russian culture “Amrit”. At the opening ceremony the guests were welcomed by a fair of Indian items and an art exhibition. In the hall of the cinema the Festival guests could try dishes of Indian cuisine. After the official opening there was demonstrated an Indian feature film. Later, the show ballet “Accent” participated in the gala concert. The sign language of the Indian dance really bewitched the viewers, and the Russian national dance showed wide Russian soul.

The show ballet “Accent” together with the singer Sergey Pereverzev made a performance in which the most ancient and beautiful attribute of the Russian wedding — “rushnik” (a towel from a homespun canvas) was involved. This performance pleased the Indian guests, and they awarded the dance with a loud applause.

The beauty of traditional costumes astonished the audience, the girls enjoyed the Festival and they hope that the guests received a pleasant impression and will long remember this remarkable day!
