The final stage of the Moscow Pre-Professional Olympiad for schoolchildren in the “IT” product sector section was held at RTU MIREA

On March 30-31, the final stage of the Moscow Pre-Professional Olympiad for schoolchildren in the “IT” product sector was held at RTU MIREA. The event was organized by the Moscow Department of Education and Science. RTU MIREA was the organizer of the “IT” product sector section.

The final stage of the Olympiad took place at the Altair Children's Technopark of RTU MIREA, where the “Information Technologies” cluster of laboratories operates.

More than 150 students of 8th–11th grades from more than 30 schools took part in the Olympiad. The competition lasted two days.

On March 30, the pupils completed interdisciplinary tasks. On March 31, the participants of the “IT” product sector section, as part of their teams, performed the final stage practice, and then passed individual testing.

Experts from different universities took part in the Olympiad: teachers from RTU MIREA, the National Research University Higher School of Economics, the National University of Science and Technology MISiS, National Research University of Electronic Technology (MIET), National Research Nuclear University MEPhI, as well as teachers from the Altair Children's Technopark of RTU MIREA and representatives of the Samsung IT School, which are partners of the Olympiad.
