The RTU MIREA Institute of Information Technology (IIT) teams won two of the five top prizes in the Tele2 SolutionDays online hackathon tracks

From August 21st to 23rd, the 48-hour Tele2 SolutionDays online hackathon was held with the participation of seven teams from the RTU MIREA Institute of Information Technology. Three teams (RealityShift, RealityUnreality and RealityFamily) made it to the finals. Two of them won the hackathon nominations and received two prizes worth 100,000 rubles each.

The RealityShift team won the iOS 14 Widgets and Clock Apps track. At the hackathon, the team members adjusted high-level widgets to the new Apple operating system, which will help the company speed up conversion and increase the demand for certain services. The RealityShift team members are Svetlana Konovalova, Anton Pushkin, Mikhail Ivanov, and Ivan Shorin.

The RealityUnreality team won the Ideas and prototypes of a multiplayer game track having created in three days a full-fledged game on the Unity engine, which is designed to increase the loyalty of existing Tele2 subscribers and attract new customers.

RealityUnreality team members are Kirill Shutov, Nikita Borzykh, Dmitry Makarov, and Alexander Nechiporenko.
The RealityFamily team that reached the finals and showed a high level of training included Artyom Makarevich, Vladislav Melnik, and Leonid Sheshukov.

The prize for the outstanding activity on the Codenrocks platform was taken by Svetlana Konovalova, captain of the RealityShift team.
