The RTU MIREA student from Angola won the silver medal in the World Championship in the National Kurash Tatar Wrestling

From 2 to 5 October, the World Championship in the national Kurash Tatar wrestling took place in the city of Kazan, the capital of the Republic of Tatarstan.
Despite the difficult epidemiological situation in the world, 120 athletes from over 10 countries took part in the competition for the title of the World Champion.

Guided by the coaches of the RTU MIREA national wrestling team Nail Ravilievich Yakubaliev, deputy chairman of the Alliance sports club and Aleksey Sergeevich Tyutryumov, the coach of the sambo and judo team, Pinto Wilden De Jesus Ribeiro, the RTU MIREA student from Angola, participated in this competition for the first time wrestling on the world stage; he won the silver in the weight category up to 70 kg.
