Cyberzone Cybersport Center

Cyberzone of RTU MIREA is a modern bootcamp created at the University to hold competitions in various subjects and for students to relax.



Cyberzone has three sites:

  1. The Game zone where students can practice their e-Sports skills. There are two PS4 PRO consoles with a set of various games and 30 modern computers with the technical characteristics described below:

  • Mobo: ASRock B360M Pro4
  • GPU: GeForce GTX 1070 8GB
  • CPU: i7 8700 @ 3.2GHz
  • RAM: 16GB RAM 2666MHz

In the Game-zone, the training of the RTU MIREA team in e-sports in various disciplines takes place mainly: Dota 2, Counter-Strike: Global Offensive, Valorant, League of Legends and others.

  1. The Chillout zone where students can play board games, arcade machines with a wide selection of retro games, air hockey and table football.

  2. The Visual area where students can watch live broadcasts of tournaments, recordings of professional competitions, videos from the YouTube channel of the RTU MIREA eSports Club. Broadcast screen is installed.

The Cyberzone hosts the following events:

  • Intra-university tournaments in the disciplines of Hearthstone (Standart, Classic, BattelGrounds), Tom Clancy's: Rainbow Six Siege, Dota 2, OSU, Counter Strike: Global offensive, League of Legends, Valorant, Rocket League and others.
  • Table game tournaments: Munchkin, Classic Mafia, Bang!, Gladiator PVP battles based on the Dungeons and Dragons 5E system and others.
  • Festival of video games “GameFest”.
  • Role quests.
  • Meetings and discussions based on shared interest.
A visit to the Cyberzone for RTU MIREA students is absolutely free.

The e-sports club of RTU MIREA was founded in 2012. First, a group of enthusiasts was formed which started to organize small tournaments at the local level. Over time, the work of the association began to gain momentum, e-sports equipment was purchased, the number of supported competitions increased, and the goals and objectives rose to the inter-university level.

In particular, thanks to the creation of a modern Cyberzone infrastructure, at the beginning of 2022, the RTU MIREA e-sports club was twice granted the title of “E-sports Club of the Year” as part of the Russian National Award “Student of the Year”.
