Future specialists who selected this particular area are trained in the design, development and operation of information and control systems for various purposes. Students get in-depth knowledge in the field of special-purpose software development, design of information systems and real-time databases, computer systems, servers and network support, cyber physical systems and cloud technologies. Students also acquire skills in implementing innovative projects for large enterprises and start-ups for private businesses. This is one of the most practice-oriented undergraduate programs in information technology, including the acquisition of practical skills in the design, development, maintenance and operation of computers and automated systems.
In this area of specialization, the program provides that specialists are trained in the development and creation of software for intelligent control systems for the hardware of the industrial Internet of things. This is the programming of microprocessors, transmission channels and multi-criteria information processing, cloud computing, and big data processing. The object of study is the algorithms and programs for intelligent group control of complex dynamic objects. The human-machine interface is implemented on the basis of new information technologies.
Educational and research laboratories of the department are equipped with up-to-date equipment and software. The department has four laboratories that are part of the Industry 4.0 Digital robotic production training center. The laboratories are equipped with industrial control systems, robots, means of sensing and modeling. Research and development work is carried out at a test site equipped with mobile robots and multi-copters with intelligent control systems. Control systems for mobile objects with visual sensing are studied in the mobile robots laboratory.
