The Smart Production Systems Educational and Scientific Center is a mega laboratory that operates on the basis of the Institute of Artificial Intelligence. The unique center combines advanced information technologies and technologies of mechanical engineering and production management.
On the basis of the mega laboratory, IT specialists get training to be able to create information and software systems, hardware and software complexes in the concept of “smart” production.
Students study the Industrial Internet of Things, cloud technologies, artificial intelligence technologies, predictive data analysis, various environments and programming languages, software development in various environments and programming languages, and much more.
Areas of work of the educational and scientific center:
Production of machine building parts on the basis of modern technological metalworking equipment with the use of control technologies in line with the concept of “smart” production;
The assembly of engineering products on an automated production system in line with the concept of “smart” production;
Ensuring monitoring of the required number of parameters of technological and production processes, as well as their predictive and current analysis in real time;
Ensuring visualization of all necessary processes and parameters of the production system with the display of information on monitors of any technical means;
Supplementing a real production system with digital twins of process equipment and process systems to provide simulation of various production systems;
Ensuring the management of the manufacturing process of engineering products through MES, PLM, SCADA, ERP and other systems;
Ensuring the possibility of software customization and adding new functions to all of the listed systems by the students within the framework of practical training sessions, laboratory, design and research work.
With the help of the equipment and software of the educational and scientific center, students and the teaching staff create virtual production systems and their components (digital twins), on the basis of which the software for managing the production system and technological equipment is developed. This allows to train IT-specialists on the tasks set as close to reality as possible.
