38.03.04 Public and municipal administration

The program is aimed to train managers able to ensure the organization and effective operation of public authorities and local governments. It is based on the requirements of current legal framework with regard to state and municipal services. The program was drafted with the participation of the most prominent scholars in the field of state and municipal administration. Students take internship courses in government agencies, governments and administrations of the constituent entities of the Russian Federation, participate in information activities of state authorities, make presentations at international and national student conferences.

Within the framework of the program, professionals are trained to get all the necessary knowledge and long-lasting skills for successful practical work relating to the implementation of the functions of drafting managerial decisions at the level of federal and local authorities, creating systems for monitoring their implementation, regulating issues of state and municipal service, preventing corruption.  Particular attention is attached to the formation of students' stable skills in the use of automated systems of state and municipal management.  Heads of the RF administrative and governing bodies, as well as the employees thereof are actively involved in conducting training courses.
