15.04.04 Automation of technological processes and production

Specialists who chose this area of specialization are trained to be able to develop the architecture of automation systems, draw up technical specifications and develop projects for the creation of automated control systems for technological processes. They learn to draw up technical specifications for the development of non-standard systems for the automation of technological processes, design separate functional elements of technological process control systems, build mathematical models of control systems, apply methods of analysis and synthesis by means of computer-aided design systems, program and debug SCADA project subsystems, conduct research in the field of design and improvement of structures and processes of industrial enterprises within a single information space.
Level of education:
Master’s degree
Form of training:
Full-time (daytime)
Venue of training:
Moscow
Programs, specializations:
Development of industrial automated systems
In the course of training, students receive theoretical knowledge and practical skills, which allows them to further create and ensure the functioning of automated control systems for technological processes of various industries built on the basis of PLC, SCADA and MES systems. Students of the program have access to modern educational laboratories equipped with PLCs manufactured by Siemens –S7-1500, OMRON – CJ1M, CJ1H, NJ301, B&R X20, Symanitron and Cisco industrial network equipment, ABB industrial robots and other up-to-date equipment of Russian and foreign make. Graduates of this educational program will be ready for the digital transformation of manufacturing enterprises in conformity with the Industry 4.0 concept.
