Our advantage:
Scientific potential and work expertise
Scientific potential and work expertise

Outstanding discoveries and developments were made at the Institute: a radio transmitter for Yuri. Gagarin; unmanned landing system for the “Buran” spacecraft; a sample of an electron beam antenna that worked for 13 years at the Mir orbital station; automated system “Telekod”, which “Mosvodokanal” has been using since 1991. The Institute passes on all its accumulated work expertise to its students.
Progressive approach to learning
Progressive approach to learning

In addition to general professional disciplines, the curriculum includes courses in the most advanced areas of development: radio engineering, design and production of radio-electronic equipment, radio engineering, radio-electronic systems and complexes, communication systems, etc. Much attention is paid to teaching technical English.
Largest targeted enrollment of students
Largest targeted enrollment of students

The Institute actively trains students of targeted enrollment at the request of various specialized enterprises. Currently there are about 50 enterprises, holdings and corporations: Ministry of Industry and Trade, Rosatom; academic research institutes of the Russian Academy of Sciences. This, of course, is evidence of the high demand for our graduates and guarantees them employment.
Conditions for training
Conditions for training

For practical classes, modern educational and research laboratories have been created with state-of-the-art equipment for the study of radio engineering and telecommunication systems: modeling, radio navigation, space monitoring, radio engineering, design and production of radio electronic equipment. The departments have specialized computer and language classes.
Practice-oriented training
Practice-oriented training

Educational and on-the-job training is carried out both at MIREA - Russian Technological University, and at specialized enterprises-partners of the university, engaged in the development and implementation of electronic equipment products.
Professions in demand
Professions in demand

54% of leading enterprises in the Russian radio-electronic industry are experiencing a shortage of young specialists. The greatest shortage of young specialists is among developers (more than 60%) and specialists involved in the direct production of radio-electronic products (just over 30%). Therefore, there is a very high demand for graduates of the Institute.
