Intelligent mobile robots
Upon completion of this program, students become professionals in developing new methods of control, data processing and search for new structural solutions to a wide spectrum of mechatronic and robotic systems, subsystems and modules, or researchers in the field of mechatronics, robotics, control science and artificial intelligence tools. They focus on mechatronic and robotic systems including data sensor, execution and control modules, their mathematical and algorithmic software, design methods and tools, modeling, experimental research and planning, theoretical and experimental research into mechatronic and robotic systems of various functionalities.
This Master’s program gives theoretical instruction and practical training in the design and operational maintenance of intelligent mobile robots within multi-agent robotic groups of various kinds of purpose and stationing. Students use modern laboratories equipped with manipulation, ground, air and underwater robots with smart controls. Students are trained to develop intelligent control systems for robots and manipulators capable of operating without human intervention in an unknown environment. All yearly and graduation projects are carried out with the use of real robotic equipment.
