The Institute of Advanced Technologies and Industrial Programming is a structural division of MIREA – Russian Technological University, which trains highly qualified professionals in the most popular and innovative fields, trains specialists in such areas as full stack development, computer and graphic design, system and industrial programming, environment design mixed reality, laser engineering and optical technologies, design visualization of industrial facilities, technologies and devices of micro- and nanoelectronics, metrological examination and accreditation, materials and technologies of digital and additive manufacturing.
Graduates of the Institute receive professions that are in demand and in short supply on the labor market: web programmer, team leader, backend and frontend programmer, interface designer, multimedia application developer, game designer, standardization and certification specialist, quality director, laser and optical systems, computer vision engineer, designer-developer of holographic systems, nanomaterials technologist, developer of micro- and nanoelectronics, 3D designer.
When training students, the Institute relies on advanced materials and technical support, allowing them to master state-of-the-art and promising technologies in practice. The Institute has 36 educational laboratories and complexes: a VR laboratory of digital and additive technologies, a laboratory of optical-electronic situation control systems, environmental and crisis monitoring, a Smart City, a laser class, 3D and 5D printers and others.
Famous scientists have worked and are working at the Institute; they make a significant contribution to the development of high technologies, ensure the development and production of modern electronic systems and devices: academician A.S. Sigov, V.G. Mokerov, V.S. Kondratenko, E.D. Mishina and many others. Their works are broadly recognized, and the results of scientific research are well known both in Russia and abroad.
The institute annually hosts international and Russian conferences: “Universal Design – Equal Opportunities – Comfortable Environment”, “Optotech”, “Advanced Materials and Technologies”, “Inclusive Design – Opportunities for All” and others.
