The General Biotechnology Megalaboratory was opened at the Lomonosov Institute of Fine Chemical Technologies with the support of such industrial partners as JSC "Generium" and JSC "Pharmstandard" and operates within the Priority 2030 programme.PRIORITY 2030ˆ

The laboratory was created for stream training of 2nd and 3rd year undergraduate (bachelor’s degree) students in the disciplines "General Biology and Microbiology" and "General Biotechnology". The laboratory is equipped with the most modern equipment necessary to carry out the full cycle from the process of cultivation of microorganisms, their identification and isolation to the production of biologically active compounds.
