Mega-Laboratories

Nowadays, new technologies grow out of date in 2 or 3 years, which is why the practice of simply upgrading, repairing and re-equipping university departments and laboratories leads into a dead end. Many students fear that, before they finish their studies in a polytechnic university, their knowledge will become obsolete. In addition, narrow specialization in a high-technology field in not what a modern economy needs.

In order to resolve this problem, RTU MIREA is implementing a large-scale-program of creating mega-laboratories. Those are multi-purpose scientific and technical centers combining the developments of several departments and even several institutes at once to synergize their educational, research and manufacturing capacities.
RTU MIREA mega-laboratories are modern platforms furnished with comprehensive sets of equipment for training and research in the most advanced areas of technology.
