I’m happy to be studying at RTU MIREA in one of the most beautiful and safest cities in the world — Moscow. The city has a huge international student community, and the urban infrastructure is truly top-notch. The University regularly organizes excursions for international students so we can get to know Russian history and culture. At RTU MIREA, I have the chance to take part in African–Russian youth events and volunteer projects, which not only help me grow my skills but also meet fascinating people. RTU MIREA is an excellent place to study and to realize your potential!

Equatorial Guinea

What impressed me most was the combination of high academic standards and a warm, supportive atmosphere. I especially value access to modern labs and technologies bridging theory and practice. The University also runs many interesting events that help international students adapt to a new environment and get acquainted with Russian culture. I also found a job while studying at RTU MIREA. Here I feel not only like a student, but like part of a big, friendly community. I’m very glad I chose this university for my studies.

Mongolia

When I left my home country, I was scared to leave my family, friends, and familiar life behind. But RTU MIREA has become not just a place to study, but a real home for me. People in Russia are kind and responsive, and life here is comfortable and safe. The University actively supports students’ creativity; for example, I got seriously into music here and now I can’t imagine my life without singing. In addition, as an RTU MIREA student, I had the chance to join an academic exchange program and spend a semester studying in Beijing. RTU MIREA opens up new opportunities and horizons!

I was deeply impressed by the support from the staff of the Institute of International Education. They helped me with my paperwork, visa, and adaptation to life in a new and unfamiliar country. After receiving my bachelor’s degree at RTU MIREA last year, I had no doubts at all about where to apply for my master’s. RTU MIREA supported me with a letter of recommendation, and I was awarded a fully funded place under the Russian Government quota. I am a second-year student at the M.V. Lomonosov Institute of Fine Chemical Technologies at RTU MIREA. I really enjoy taking part in university events and traveling to forums and scientific conferences in various Russian cities. Russia is a huge and amazing country. Traveling here is exciting and completely safe. I also sing and perform professionally with the RTU MIREA Chamber Choir, which has received top honors in choral music competitions. I would definitely recommend our University to any international student who is looking for a prestigious, high-quality education and an unforgettable study-abroad experience in Russia.

I’m a master’s student at RTU MIREA majoring in Chemical Technology. My study is state-funded under the Russian Government quota. I also studied Russian at the preparatory department here and completed my bachelor’s degree. The Russian language instructors at RTU MIREA have many years of experience working with international students. Thanks to their professionalism and patience, I was able to master Russian with ease. I would also like to point out how comfortable the application process is: you can submit your documents online from anywhere in the world! RTU MIREA really takes care of its applicants and students!

Zimbabwe

I’ve been very lucky that RTU MIREA has one of the strongest volunteer movements in Russia, and I actively participate in events and projects aimed at helping those in need. RTU MIREA volunteers have literally traveled all over Russia on environmental and social missions, building eco-trails high in the mountains, cleaning up permafrost zones, and repairing buildings and tourist shelters. Being a volunteer in a team of caring, like-minded people and having the chance to travel to some of the most protected and fascinating places in Russia — that’s something many people dream of.

North Macedonia

I’d like to note that RTU MIREA offers a wide range of optional classes. If you are falling behind in math, physics, computer science, or Russian and are worried you might not pass a test or exam, you can attend extra classes in these subjects free of charge. I was also pleasantly surprised by the living conditions in the university dorms: the rooms are spacious and bright, with everything needed for studying and relaxing: comfortable beds, large closets, desks for coursework. The kitchens and bathrooms are kept clean. The dorm staff are responsive and friendly.
