IIE Member Joins Jury of 5th “Best Russian School Abroad — 2025” Competition

From December 3 to 5, the 5th International Competition “Best Russian School Abroad — 2025,” organized by the Center for International Cooperation of the Russian Ministry of Education, took place in Moscow. The event brought together 1,400 teachers from 36 countries. Finalists from 13 countries competed for victory in the categories: “International Teacher,” “Best Teacher of Russian as a Foreign Language,” “Best Teacher in a Non-Russian-Speaking School,” “Best Subject Teacher,” “Best Teacher of Additional Education,” and others.

The Head of the Department of Russian as a Foreign Language at the Institute of International Education (IIE), Doctor of Educational Sciences Yelena Nikolayevna Tarasova served as a jury member in the “Best Teaching Staff of a Russian School” category.

At the end of the contest, a friendly discussion was held, with participants exchanging contacts between themselves and the IIE. A number of general education and specialized schools from Vietnam, Kazakhstan, and Uzbekistan expressed interest in collaborating with RTU MIREA and invited university representatives to host career guidance sessions and provide detailed information on admission procedures for international students and available academic programs.
