RTU MIREA Only University with Prize Winners in All Three English Olympiad Categories

From November 27 to December 2, the Lomonosov Institute of Fine Chemical Technologies hosted “Emulating Nature”— Moscow’s Open English Olympiad for natural science and engineering majors. Top Moscow college and university talent competed in two rounds.​

All participants demonstrated strong competences, making the Olympiad a fantastic platform of academic exchanges and a showcase of language skills. But we are proud to note that the RTU MIREA students were among the leaders, snagging four podium spots:

1st place was shared by Georgy Prokhorov (RTU MIREA), Timofei Lo (D.I. Mendeleev RCTU); and Mikhail Pereberin (D.I. Mendeleev RCTU);

2nd place was shared by Aleksandra Yelizarova (RTU MIREA); Sofya Marfina (Lomonosov MSU); and Sofya Teterina (D.I. Mendeleev RCTU);

3rd place was shared by Georgy Ponomarenko (RTU MIREA); Konstantin Fedotov (RTU MIREA); Lev Pavlyuchenko (Lomonosov MSU); Daniil Fedin (N.E. Bauman MSTU); and Anastasia Yusova (D.I. Mendeleev RCTU).​

These results demonstrate our students’ versatility, combining deep technical expertise with exceptional English proficiency.
