RTU MIREA Student Claims Silver at European Judo Cup for Juniors

The European Judo Cup for juniors under 21 wrapped up November 22-23 in Podgorica, Montenegro. 219 athletes from 25 countries across four continents battled on the tatami, showcasing grit, technique, poise, and speed.

RTU MIREA student Ademirkhan Tambiev (IVBO-12-24 group) secured silver in the 90 kg division. A mainstay on the university’s judo team under Senior Lecturer Aleksei Sergeevich Tyutyumov, Tambiev consistently medals at top-tier events.
