RTU MIREA, a regular participant in the KHIMIA show of chemical industry and science, delivered strong presentations again this year in both the exhibition and business program of the event held November 10-13 at the Timiryazev Exhibition Center.

The university’s spacious booth showcased cutting-edge research in elastomer recycling, plastics and polymer composites processing, high-molecular compounds, materials engineering, and ceramic material development.

As before, the booth drew significant attention from attendees and visitors alike, serving as a dynamic bridge between academic science and education with real-world industry needs.

In the business program, Aleksandr Nikolayevich Dyachenko, head of the K.A. Bolshakov Department of Chemistry and Technology of Rare Elements, teamed up with Russia’s Ministry of Industry and Trade to organize a roundtable on “Prospects for Production and Use of Rare Earth Metals,” attended by over 50 industry experts.

Pro-Rector Oleg Yevgenyevich Vinokurov made a presentation on the establishment and development plans of the university’s Engineering Development Center focused on chemical products for components of microwave electronics during a roundtable titled “Engineering Centers: From Idea to Launch. How Clients and Contractors Become a Team.”

The international KHIMIA exhibition has been held annually in Moscow since 1965, ranking among the most prestigious in its field.
