The coat of arms of RTU MIREA has been approved

The coat of arms of RTU MIREA was approved by Order No. 639 of RTU MIREA dated May 17, 2018.

It was registered in the State Heraldic Register of the Russian Federation on June 28, 2018, under No. 11946 (see University Symbols).

The emblem features a golden double‑headed eagle with outstretched wings raised upward, crowned with two golden imperial crowns and a third identical crown above them, with golden ribbons flowing from it. The eagle holds crossed silver objects: a scroll in its left talon and a quill (placed over the scroll) in its right talon. On the eagle’s chest is an oval blue shield with a silver border, inscribed with the words «РОССИЙСКИЙ ТЕХНОЛОГИЧЕСКИЙ УНИВЕРСИТЕТ / МИРЭА» («RUSSIAN TECHNOLOGICAL UNIVERSITY / MIREA»). Within the shield is a silver radio transmission tower emitting signals, below which are a golden hammer and a French wrench crossed together.
