Words of Congratulations from RTU MIREA Rector on Rescuer’s Day

Dear students!

With all my heart I congratulate you on Rescuer's Day!

Courage and bravery, courage and mutual assistance have always distinguished those who have chosen saving people as their life's work. These are the qualities that young volunteers possess, who make a great contribution to the development of the student rescue movement in the country.

More than 20 years ago, the All-Russian Student Rescue Corps was founded at our university. At first it was a small formation, and today it is one of the largest student volunteer organizations in Russia.

The members of the Corps successfully participate in the elimination of the consequences of emergency situations and humanitarian missions, ensure the safety of various events of the city and federal scale. We are proud that it is on the basis of RTU MIREA that there is such a squad, which is one of the first to always come to the rescue in case of an emergency or when it is necessary to provide assistance to the employees of the Ministry of Emergency Situations of Russia. New fighters regularly join the squad, because to become a rescuer, you only need a sincere call of the heart and soul, and the rest will be taught by senior mentors. Friends, I congratulate you on the holiday! I wish you very good health, fortitude, I also wish you to remain sensitive, strong, strong-willed and kind people, to cope with any situation with honor and dignity! Let your courage, valor, selfless desire to help people be rewarded with recognition and gratitude of the rescued!
