On June 9, the Academy of Innovators, an organization under the Department of Entrepreneurship and Innovative Development of the City of Moscow, announced the results of the selection for the sixth cohort of its acceleration program.

“Over 5,800 people registered to participate in the accelerator. This time, entrepreneurs from more than 140 cities across Russia and 15 friendly countries, including Belarus, Saudi Arabia, and Morocco, showed interest,” said a deputy mayor.

After reviewing applications, experts selected the 100 most promising projects. The authors of these projects will continue developing their ideas with the support of personal mentors.

Among the selected projects is RTU MIREA’s “Educational Platform: Embedded Microcontrollers for Internet of Things Systems” (EM IoT), led by S. V. Litvinov, Candidate of Technical Sciences and Deputy Director of the Institute of Radio Electronics and Informatics.

The project features laboratory equipment equipped with microcontrollers and peripherals mounted on a custom-designed multilayer printed circuit board, along with a code-writing microcomputer. All the components are housed in a shock-resistant aluminum case, allowing quick setup of the workstation and easy programming.

The Academy of Innovators acceleration program supports technology startups and fosters entrepreneurial skills. It offers training on key aspects of creating and scaling innovative projects, mentorship, access to the expert community, and opportunities to attract investment. Participants receive tools to build business models, enter markets, and collaborate with corporations. The program is open to early-stage startups with finished products or prototypes and growth potential. It runs for several months and concludes with a demonstration day when participants present their projects to investors and partners.
