Faculty from Institute of Management Technologies Take Part in 7th International Conference “Psychology and Life”

On November 13–14, the Maxim Tank Belarusian State Pedagogical University hosted the 7th International Academic and Practical Conference “Psychology and Life: Current Issues in Educational Psychology and Personality Development in the Modern World.”

Associate Professors Y.I. Zhemerikina and T.A. Talaluyeva of the Department of Humanities and Social Sciences took part in the plenary session and conducted a master class titled “Emotional Intelligence as the Key to a Teacher’s Professional Success.”

The workshop introduced participants to the concept of emotional intelligence, also known as emotional quotient (EQ), and practical methods for its development. Attendees learned strategies to foster effective social interaction by understanding and managing their own emotional state, as well as recognizing others’ emotions to improve communication. The workshop covered theoretical aspects of EQ and presented diagnostic tools and techniques for developing its key components.
