Foreign Graduates from Preparatory Department Certified by RTU MIREA’s Institute of International Education

15.07.2025

On July 11, the Institute of International Education at RTU MIREA hosted a graduation ceremony for foreign students of its preparatory department. This year, young men and women from 36 countries successfully completed the program, and are preparing to continue their higher education — now equipped with a solid grasp of the Russian language and culture, in which they immersed themselves throughout the year under the guidance of experienced instructors. Apart from Russian, they also studied physics, mathematics, computer science, chemistry, and history, and visited the country’s historical and cultural sites.

The celebration began with a congratulatory address by Irina Sergeyevna Solunova, Deputy First Vice-Rector. She wished all the graduates continued success in their studies and urged them to “remember the walls of our university as a second home.” She encouraged each graduate to serve as an ambassador for their country, fostering stronger international bonds for RTU MIREA.

Many graduates are set to stay on at RTU MIREA, enrolling in bachelor’s or master’s programs, where they’ll further develop their academic ambitions. We are confident that the knowledge and experiences they’ve gained from the preparatory program will serve as a sturdy foundation for future achievements and personal growth.
