13.11.2025

On November 11, faculty from the Department of History and Documentation Studies of the Institute of Management Technologies took an active part in the International Forum on Electronic Document Management. The event focused on current trends in digital document management and gathered top specialists from federal and regional governments, corporate leaders and experts from the ROSEU Association, electronic document management operators and integrators, as well as representatives of small and medium businesses.

Discussions centered on key aspects of implementing modern electronic document management systems, digital technology development in information management, and workforce training for digital transformation. Topics included cross-border electronic document flow, innovations in electronic document signing, digital logistics, and cybersecurity.

For the first time, the forum featured a business game titled “Digital Flow,” offering the participating teams — X5 and Surgutneftegas — a chance to solve real business cases collaboratively.

Attendees among the RTU MIREA faculty learned about best practices, exchanged views with experts, and explored new digitization approaches. This experience will help improve the Department’s academic programs and train specialists ready to face the challenges of a digital economy.

The knowledge gained will be used in teaching documentation, archival science, and digital transformation to students.
