The 36th ITEX competition and exhibition, held annually in partnership with the International Federation of Inventors’ Associations (IFIA), took place in Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia, from May 29 to 31, 2025.
ITEX is one of the world’s leading platforms dedicated to inventions and innovations. This year, the exhibition featured over 150 participants from 12 countries, all carefully selected and evaluated by an international jury. Based on expert assessments, winners were awarded medals and diplomas recognizing their achievements.
Known for the high quality of submissions and its wide international participant base, ITEX attracts significant interest from investors, entrepreneurs, specialists, and media – especially from Southeast Asia and beyond. Alongside the main event, the World Exhibition of Young Inventors was held, showcasing more than 200 projects by young innovators, many of whom are the same age as students of RTU MIREA’s Altair Children’s Technopark.
RTU MIREA was represented by L.E. Babich, Head of the Intellectual Property Protection Department at the Research and Development Directorate, and S.V. Litvinov, Deputy Director of the Institute of Radio Electronics and Informatics.
During the exhibition, RTU MIREA’s representatives discussed opportunities for scientific collaboration with foreign universities, explored global technology trends, and exchanged ideas with international colleagues on the development of modern electronic tools.
