RTU MIREA Faculty Attend 31st VNIIDAD Conference

On November 13, faculty of the Department of History and Documentation Studies of the Institute of Management Technologies participated in the 31st International Scientific and Practical Conference “Documentation in the Information Society,” organized by the All-Russian Scientific Research Institute of Documentation and Archival Science (VNIIDAD). The conference gathered leading experts, scientists, and practitioners from around the world.

The conference is a key platform for exchanging experience and discussing current challenges and development prospects in documentation science, archival studies, and information management amid rapid digital transformation.

The topics covered at the 31st conference included, among other pressing contemporary issues, the authenticity of electronic documents: theory, technology, and practice; digital bureaucracy and digital bureaucratism.

  • Lyudmila Igorevna Gorelova, Senior Lecturer of the Department of History and Documentation Studies at the Institute of Management Technologies, presented a report titled "Using Augmented Reality for Visualization and Interaction with Documentation."
  • Nadezhda Yuryevna Gladkaya, Assistant of the same department, delivered a presentation called "Implementing a Digital Student Profile as a Key Element of University Digital Transformation."

By participating in such a prestigious scientific forum, RTU MIREA faculty from the Department of History and Documentation Studies have demonstrated their deep engagement with the global academic and professional community in the field.

The lecturers plan to incorporate the insights gained at the conference into their teaching, ensuring students remain abreast of the latest industry trends and requirements in today’s digital landscape and preparing graduates to meet evolving labor market demands.
