RTU MIREA Hosts International Strategic Session for CIS Students and Young Researchers

RTU MIREA hosted a segment of the international strategic session “Major Challenges for the CIS,” where participants presented project ideas addressing key challenges outlined in the CIS Science and Technology Development Strategy for 2026–2035, approved by the CIS Council of Heads of Government on September 29. The event brought together youth teams from leading universities and major state corporations.

The expert panel included:

  • K.I. Mogilevsky — Deputy Minister of Science and Higher Education of the Russian Federation
  • A.P. Shashkin — Director of the Department of State Policy in Science and Technology Development, Russian Ministry of Science and Higher Education
  • A.G. Asadov — Deputy Director of the same department
  • Ya.S. Senokop — Head of the Science and Technology Decade Support Office, Russian Ministry of Science and Higher Education
  • N.B. Golovanova — Deputy First Vice-Rector of RTU MIREA
  • O.Kh. Karimov — Director of the Student Research Programs Directorate at RTU MIREA

Project teams from the following organizations took part:

  • Tyumen State University
  • Gubkin Russian State University of Oil and Gas
  • Bauman Moscow State Technical University
  • RTU MIREA
  • Moscow Aviation Institute
  • Rosatom State Corporation
  • Kurchatov Institute

The session served as a vital platform for building inter-university and international collaboration in high technology, environmental issues, and sustainable development. With the expert recommendations received, participants will refine their projects for presentation at the Congress of Young Scientists.
