RTU MIREA once again took part in the international specialized exhibition “Metalloobrabotka-2025,” showcasing equipment, devices, and tools for the metalworking industry. This was the 25th anniversary edition of the show, highlighting cutting-edge innovations from leading Russian and international machine tool manufacturers.
The university’s booth displayed developments from three of its institutes. The Institute of Artificial Intelligence presented the training stand “Robotic Stacking.” The Institute of Advanced Technologies and Industrial Programming showcased an exhibit demonstrating 3D scanning capabilities, reverse-engineered technologies and products, and examples of additive manufacturing applications in industry. The Institute of Radio Electronics and Informatics presented a prototype automated surface-mounting line developed by students with faculty support.
As part of its commitment to training highly qualified industry professionals, each institute also presented academic and continuing education programs tailored for representatives of the mechanical engineering, robotics, and additive manufacturing sectors.
As always, the RTU MIREA booth attracted significant interest from exhibition participants and visitors alike. Numerous contacts were exchanged, and several preliminary agreements on cooperation and partnership were reached.
Since 1984, the international “Metalloobrabotka” exhibition in Moscow has been recognized as the largest machine tool industry event in Russia and the CIS. In 2025, over 1,200 companies from seven countries participated, including China, India, Italy, Belarus, South Korea, Russia, and Turkey. More than 800 Russian companies were represented. The show occupied all pavilions and open areas of the Expocenter Fairgrounds.
